My disdain for History... personified!

Yes - you're right! Jamie is complaining once again, what could it be this time? If you didn't guess by the title (internal sigh at your stupidity), it's about History! But not any old History, oh no... Russian History! I mean, who writes a book about the liberal reforms of some unheard of Tsar (or Czar if you're feeling fancy) from the nineteenth century. Their regime failed for a reason, so why do History students need to be subjected to some drivel about the aggressive policies of Alexander III and how the teachings of Pobedonostsev influenced the teachings of his leadership... yawn? I can tell that most of you are bored right now - I am, and I'm writing the bloody thing. Yes life! Fortunately, after tomorrow we can grace ourselves Jack Daniels and Jägermeister in the absence of college on Friday! Fancy joining me?
